Jake im not one to gush,
but
i enjoyed your interview
and

i REALLY LIKE your manner, your vocal rhythm, your energy, your genuiness
and its only a comment,
and a postiive one to be clear.
But there are parts of your vocal rhythm in the opener that remind me of the DJ on Almost Famous-theres this naturally intriguing invitation to 'come on this adventrue with me' expression in your voice.

nice too that you know when to listen and when to ask questions, very respecftful and very intelligent journalism

Jake,
Great interview with Ken. I worked with him on various gigs for about 10 years. I had the apartment upstairs from the Skipper.
Henry mentored all of us and you are right about the industrialization of music learning. The commercial process has diminished the community
benefits. Fortunately new technology is breaking that paradigm. New tools can democratize music learning and community experience if we work it right.

Best,
Al Walton
