My children attend BASIS Tucson in 1st and 3rd grade. They LOVE school, whereas at our regular neighborhood public school, our older child was completely bored. In 1st grade, our child’s teacher at the local public school actually told us at the end of the school year that she had no idea how to teach to our child. At BASIS, our children have totally blossomed into little scholars. There have been days that they actually don’t want to go home. It is hard work, but it is so totally worth it. Mr. Shorbe was an awesome Head of School last year. We miss him a lot, but are thrilled for his new opportunity. 🙂
